Sahithi Kuchipudi Kala Kshetram Makes History at Walt Disney World’s Diwali Dance Festival 2026
Rajadhani Vartalu, Internet desk, ORLANDO, Fla. : Bringing the classical dance tradition of Andhra Pradesh to a global audience, Sahithi Kuchipudi Kala Kshetram achieved a significant milestone at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Traveling from California, the ensemble presented two captivating performances at the Diwali Dance Festival 2026.
The group made history by presenting Kuchipudi on the International Dance Showcase stage, alongside artists from the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Caribbean Islands. The dancers also delivered a spectacular 15-minute continuous performance on Main Street, U.S.A., in front of the iconic Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.
One of the highlights of the showcase was the traditional Tarangam, in which the dancers demonstrated remarkable rhythm, balance, and precision while performing on the edge of a brass plate. Their performances captivated audiences with the grace, expression, and intricate footwork characteristic of this classical Indian dance form.
Adorned in traditional, vibrant costumes and intricate jewelry representing Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Radha, and Lord Krishna, the young dancers created a breathtaking celebration of Indian culture and heritage against the backdrop of one of the world’s most famous entertainment venues.
Led by Artistic Director Dr. Sahithi Latha Bhandari, the year-long journey to this global stage was a testament to dedication, perseverance, and deep cultural pride. Entirely self-funded, the initiative reflects the ensemble’s unwavering commitment to preserving, promoting, and elevating Kuchipudi dance on the international stage.
This monumental achievement marks a proud moment for the dancers, their families, and the broader Indian cultural community, successfully bringing the rich artistic heritage of Andhra Pradesh to international prominence.

యునైటెడ్ కింగ్డమ్, ఆస్ట్రేలియా ,కరేబియన్ దీవుల కళాకారులతో పాటు, అంతర్జాతీయ నృత్య ప్రదర్శన వేదికపై కూచిపూడిని ప్రదర్శించి ఈ బృందం చరిత్ర సృష్టించింది. అంతేకాకుండా, మ్యాజిక్ కింగ్డమ్లోని ప్రసిద్ధ సిండ్రెల్లా కోట ముందు, మెయిన్ స్ట్రీట్, యు.ఎస్.ఎ.లో నృత్యకారులు 15 నిమిషాల పాటు అద్భుతమైన నిరంతర ప్రదర్శన ఇచ్చారు.
