ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ వర్కింగ్ జర్నలిస్ట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ (ఏపీడబ్ల్యూజేఎఫ్) జిల్లా కేంద్ర కార్యాలయంలో బుధవారం చిన్న దినపత్రికలు, మాసపత్రికల యూనియన్ జిల్లా కమిటీని ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఎన్నుకున్నారు. బుధవారం చిత్తూరు ఏపీడబ్ల్యూజేఎఫ్ కార్యాలయంలో చిన్న పత్రికల సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ ఎన్నికల్లో అధ్యక్షుడిగా గందోడి హరిప్రసాద్, ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శిగా ప్రేమ్ చందు, కోశాధికారిగా నంబిక రాజ్ ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఎన్నికయ్యారు.
యూనియన్ ఉపాధ్యక్షులుగా సీకే రఘురామరాజు, సత్యం ప్రసాద్, హరికృష్ణ రెడ్డి ఎంపికయ్యారు. ప్రచార కార్యదర్శిగా పి. వినోద్ కుమార్, సంయుక్త కార్యదర్శులుగా రాజగోపాల్, ఈ. రఘురాం, లీలా కుమారులు ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఎన్నికయ్యారు.
చిన్న దినపత్రికలు, మాసపత్రికల జర్నలిస్టుల సమస్యల పరిష్కారం, వారి హక్కుల పరిరక్షణ, పత్రికల అభివృద్ధికి కృషి చేసే లక్ష్యంతో నూతన కమిటీ ఏర్పాటైంది. చిన్న పత్రికల యాజమాన్యాలు, జర్నలిస్టులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమస్యలను సంబంధిత అధికారుల దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లి పరిష్కారానికి కృషి చేయాలని నూతన కమిటీ సభ్యులు ఆకాంక్షించారు.
ఏపీడబ్ల్యూజేఎఫ్ అనుబంధంగా చిన్న పత్రికల యూనియన్ ఏర్పాటుకు సహకరించిన రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షుడు పి. హుస్సేన్ ఖాన్కు చిత్తూరు జిల్లా నూతన కమిటీ సభ్యులు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. జర్నలిస్టుల సంక్షేమం, చిన్న పత్రికల మనుగడ, హక్కుల పరిరక్షణ కోసం సంఘటితంగా పనిచేస్తామని ఈ సందర్భంగా వారు పేర్కొన్నారు.

The district committee for the Union of Small Daily Newspapers and Monthly Magazines—affiliated with the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation (APWJF)—was elected unanimously on Wednesday at the APWJF district headquarters in Chittoor. A meeting of representatives from these small publications was held at the office, during which the new office-bearers were chosen: Gandodi Hariprasad as President, Prem Chandu as General Secretary, and Nambika Raj as Treasurer.
C.K. Raghurama Raju, Satyam Prasad, and Harikrishna Reddy were selected as Vice-Presidents of the Union. P. Vinod Kumar was elected as Publicity Secretary, while Rajagopal, E. Raghuram, and Leela Kumar were elected as Joint Secretaries.
The new committee has been formed with the objective of addressing the challenges faced by journalists working for small daily newspapers and monthly magazines, protecting their rights, and fostering the development of these publications. The committee members expressed their commitment to bringing the issues faced by the managements and journalists of these small publications to the attention of the relevant authorities to seek effective solutions.
The formation of this Small Newspapers Union, as an affiliate of the APWJF, was supported by the State President, P. The members of the new Chittoor district committee expressed their gratitude to Hussain Khan. On this occasion, they stated that they would work collectively for the welfare of journalists, the survival of small newspapers, and the protection of their rights.
