రాజస్థాన్(జైపూర్) / అమరావతి: రాజస్థాన్ లోని జైపూర్లో జరుగుతున్న ఇంటర్నేషనల్ వెడ్డింగ్ అండ్ టూరిజం కాన్ క్లేవ్ (IWTC) లో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ పర్యాటక రంగానికి మరో అరుదైన గౌరవం దక్కింది. పర్యాటక రంగంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ను డెస్టినేషన్ వెడ్డింగ్స్ కు ప్రత్యేక గమ్యస్థానంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు, ఈ రంగంలో కార్యక్రమాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటున్న ప్రత్యేక చర్యలకు గాను ఏపీకి బెస్ట్ వెడ్డింగ్ డెస్టినేషన్ ఎమర్జింగ్ స్టేట్ అవార్డు పురస్కారం లభించింది.ఈ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక అవార్డును రాష్ట్ర పర్యాటక, సాంస్కృతిక, సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ శాఖల మంత్రి కందుల దుర్గేష్ సోమవారం రాత్రి జైపూర్లో నిర్వహించిన ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమంలో నిర్వాహకుల చేతుల మీదుగా అందుకున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి దుర్గేష్ మాట్లాడుతూ..కేంద్ర సహకారంతో సీఎం చంద్రబాబునాయుడు, డిప్యూటీ సీఎం పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ల నేతృత్వంలోని ఏపీ సర్కార్ పర్యాటకాభివృద్ధి కోసం చేస్తున్న కృషికి ఈ అవార్డు నిదర్శనమని హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. “దేశీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ వివాహ వేడుకలకు ఏపీయే ఫేవరెట్ స్పాట్ గా ఉండేలా చేస్తామన్నారు. అందమైన లోకేషన్లు.. అద్భుతమైన ఆతిథ్యం తో పాటు రాబోయే రోజుల్లో ఏపీని డెస్టినేషన్ వెడ్డింగ్స్కు కేరాఫ్ అడ్రస్గా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని మంత్రి దుర్గేష్ ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు.ఇటీవలే కేరళలో గ్లోబల్ ట్రావెల్ మార్కెట్ అందించిన బెస్ట్ టూరిజం ప్రమోషన్ స్టేట్ అవార్డు మరియు గోవాలో ఇండియన్ రూట్స్ ఎడిటర్స్ ఛాయిస్ విభాగంలో అరకు కు మోస్ట్ ఇన్ స్టాగ్రామబుల్ ల్యాండ్ స్కేప్ అవార్డును అందుకున్నామని, ఇప్పుడు మరో అవార్డు అందుకోవడం ఆనందంగా ఉందని మంత్రి దుర్గేష్ అన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా నిర్వాహకులకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

State pledges to establish Andhra Pradesh as a premier destination for weddings
Rajasthan (Jaipur) / Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh’s tourism sector has earned another rare honor at the International Wedding and Tourism Conclave (IWTC) currently underway in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The state received the ‘Best Wedding Destination – Emerging State’ award in recognition of the special initiatives undertaken by the coalition government to develop the tourism sector and position Andhra Pradesh as a prime location for destination weddings.
Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography, Kandula Durgesh, received this prestigious award from the organizers during a special event held in Jaipur on Monday night. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Durgesh expressed his happiness, stating that this award stands as a testament to the efforts being made by the AP government—under the leadership of CM Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and with support from the Centre—to boost tourism development. Minister Durgesh expressed confidence that Andhra Pradesh would be transformed into a premier destination for both domestic and international weddings, thanks to its beautiful locations and exceptional hospitality.
He noted with pleasure that the state had recently received the ‘Best Tourism Promotion State’ award at the Global Travel Market in Kerala and the ‘Most Instagrammable Landscape’ award for Araku (in the ‘Indian Roots Editors’ Choice’ category) in Goa, and expressed happiness at receiving yet another award. He also extended his gratitude to the organizers on this occasion.
