ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మున్సిపల్ రాజకీయాల్లో అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత సంతరించుకున్న పరిణామంలో, జనసేన పార్టీ ప్రతినిధి ,ప్రముఖ నాయకుడు వంగవీటి రాధాకృష్ణ, ఎన్డీఏ కూటమి (టీడీపీ, జనసేన, బీజేపీ) తరపున విజయవాడ మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ (VMC) మేయర్ అభ్యర్థిగా తన నామినేషన్ను అధికారికంగా దాఖలు చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కూటమికి చెందిన ముఖ్య నాయకులు, స్థానిక శాసనసభ్యులు , భారీ సంఖ్యలో మద్దతుదారుల సమక్షంలో వంగవీటి రాధాకృష్ణ రిటర్నింగ్ అధికారికి తన నామినేషన్ పత్రాలను సమర్పించారు. నగరంలోని అన్ని డివిజన్ల నుండి ప్రజల నుంచి ఆయనకు విశేష స్పందన లభిస్తోంది. తన నాయకత్వంపై నమ్మకం ఉంచినందుకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎన్. చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ మరియు బీజేపీ నాయకులకు ఆయన కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.
ఇదే సమయంలో, దివంగత నేత వంగవీటి మోహనరంగ కుటుంబానికి సంబంధించిన ఒక అరుదైన , అమూల్యమైన పాత చిత్రం వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. 1980లు లేదా 1990ల నాటి ఈ చిత్రంలో వంగవీటి మోహనరంగ సతీమణి రత్నకుమారి, వారి కుమారుడు వంగవీటి రాధాకృష్ణ , కుమార్తె కలిసి ఉన్నారు. తరతరాలుగా భద్రపరచబడిన ఈ చిత్రం కుటుంబ బంధాల గొప్పతనాన్ని, విజయవాడ ప్రాంత రాజకీయ ,సామాజిక నేపథ్యపు చారిత్రక ప్రాధాన్యతను చాటు చెబుతోంది.
విజయవాడ మేయర్ అభ్యర్థిగా నామినేషన్ దాఖలు చేసిన అనంతరం ప్రజలను ఉద్దేశించి వంగవీటి రాధాకృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ:
” మన రాష్ట్ర రాజకీయాలకు గుండెకాయ వంటి విజయవాడ నగరానికి మేయర్ అభ్యర్థిగా ఎంపిక కావడం నాకు దక్కిన గౌరవంగా భావిస్తున్నాను. కూటమి నాయకత్వం, స్థానిక ఎమ్మెల్యేలు ,బెజవాడ ప్రజల సహకారంతో, నగరంలో మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పనను వేగవంతం చేస్తాం. పారదర్శకమైన పాలనను అందిస్తూ, విజయవాడలోని ప్రతి మూలకు సమగ్ర అభివృద్ధిని తీసుకువచ్చేందుకు మేము కట్టుబడి ఉన్నాము. ” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ప్రజా సేవలో లోతైన వారసత్వం, ప్రజలతో బలమైన అనుబంధం కలిగిన వంగవీటి రాధాకృష్ణ ప్రస్తుత మున్సిపల్ ఎన్నికల్లో జనసేన అభ్యర్థిగా గట్టి పోటీ ఇస్తున్నారు. నగరంలోని అన్ని డివిజన్లలో ఇంటింటికీ ప్రచారం నిర్వహిస్తూ, ప్రజల నుండి అపూర్వ స్పందనను పొందుతున్న ఈ ప్రచారం విజయవాడలో ప్రగతిశీల అభివృద్ధికి కొత్త అధ్యాయం సృష్టిస్తుందని కూటమి ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేస్తోంది.

In a significant development within the municipal politics of Andhra Pradesh, prominent leader and Jana Sena Party representative Vangaveeti Radhakrishna has officially filed his nomination as the mayoral candidate for the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) on behalf of the NDA alliance (TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP).
Radhakrishna submitted his nomination papers to the Returning Officer in the presence of key alliance leaders, local legislators, and a large number of supporters. He is receiving an overwhelming response from the public across all divisions of the city. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and the BJP leadership for placing their trust in his leadership.
Meanwhile, a rare and invaluable vintage photograph concerning the family of the late leader Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga has surfaced. Dating back to the 1980s or 1990s, the image features Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga’s wife, Ratnakumari, along with their son, Vangaveeti Radhakrishna, and their daughter. Preserved through the generations, this photograph highlights the strength of family bonds and underscores the historical significance of the political and social landscape of the Vijayawada region. After filing his nomination as the mayoral candidate for Vijayawada, Vangaveeti Radhakrishna addressed the public, stating:
“I consider it a great honor to have been chosen as the mayoral candidate for the city of Vijayawada—the very heart of our state’s politics. With the support of the alliance leadership, local MLAs, and the people of Vijayawada, we will accelerate the development of infrastructure in the city. We are committed to providing a transparent administration and ensuring comprehensive development reaches every corner of Vijayawada.”
