Why Such Hatred Towards Amaravati?
Former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, known for his catchphrases about never breaking his word or backing down, has effectively claimed “patent rights” for doing exactly that regarding the Amaravati capital issue. While he had championed Amaravati for political gain as the Leader of the Opposition in 2014, he reneged on his stance immediately after coming to power in 2019, driven by a desire for exploitation. He orchestrated a new drama centered on the concept of “three capitals.” After the people rejected the YCP in 2024, he resurfaced with the narrative of “Mavigan.” In Jagan’s own lexicon, “Mavigan” signifies breaking one’s word, spreading hatred, and promoting a “gun culture”—themes that define the tune he is currently singing. The public has clearly understood that Jagan’s goal was never to build a capital; rather, it was to sow discord between regions and incite hatred among the people. Yet, the former Chief Minister remains oblivious to this reality.
Since the alliance government assumed power under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, construction work on the Amaravati capital has been proceeding at a rapid pace. Amaravati, which suffered devastation during the five years of YCP rule, has seen a resurgence of hope and progress under the alliance government.
People are observing Jagan’s persistent display of hatred, as he cannot tolerate this development. Having conspired to completely destroy Amaravati during his five-year tenure, Jagan continues to spew venom against the capital. He persists in his attempts to mislead the people of the state with reckless and baseless rhetoric. Even a chameleon might feel ashamed…
Backtracking and changing his stance on Amaravati is second nature to Jagan. While serving as the Leader of the Opposition, Jagan had declared on the floor of the Assembly that the capital should be built on 35,000 acres between Guntur and Vijayawada and that Amaravati was acceptable to them; he maintained this position consistently until 2019. Even during the 2019 election campaign, Jagan and YCP leaders emphatically stated that Amaravati would continue to be the state capital. Jagan once remarked at a public meeting that the capital is wherever the Assembly, Secretariat, and High Court are located. After feigning support to garner votes in 2019, Jagan revealed his true colors once he won. He set out to completely ruin Amaravati under the guise of the “three capitals” proposal. Following a severe drubbing in the 2024 elections, YCP leaders claimed that if the party returned to power, Jagan would reside in Amaravati as Chief Minister and not move to Visakhapatnam. Jagan’s comments have laid bare the true nature of YCP leaders and their actual stance on Amaravati. Even a chameleon would feel ashamed witnessing how frequently Jagan changes his words regarding Amaravati.
A Dangerous Political Game…!!
Just as the construction of Amaravati was gaining momentum, Jagan Reddy initiated a dangerous political game driven by selfishness and narrow-minded arguments, while distorting the facts. The public needs to understand his hollow and futile brand of politics. From the very beginning, Jagan Reddy created numerous obstacles to nip the Amaravati project in the bud. He adopted a deceptive, wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing approach with the sole aim of dismantling, fragmenting, and ruining Amaravati.
After coming to power on the promise of building a magnificent capital at Amaravati, Jagan Reddy effectively signed its death warrant. He staged the “three capitals” drama, leaving the state without a functional capital. Jagan Reddy rivals a chameleon in his ability to flip-flop and go back on his word. Driven by arrogance and a penchant for uncivilized, divisive politics, he stoked regional animosity and crippled the development of Amaravati. That is precisely why the people handed him a crushing defeat in the 2024 elections, rejecting him so thoroughly that his party failed to even secure the status of the main opposition. Yet, he refuses to mend his ways; he continues to make malicious remarks about Amaravati and acts as a spoiler, intent on obstructing its progress at every turn.
It is evident that Jagan Reddy’s intention is to prevent Amaravati from developing as the capital. His conduct suggests a desire to block any investments or grants from reaching Andhra Pradesh.
The then Telugu Desam government had successfully persuaded farmers and secured over 30,000 acres of land—without spending a single penny on land acquisition costs—to launch the capital’s construction. Work proceeded rapidly, with thousands of laborers toiling under floodlights. Had the project not been obstructed and allowed to proceed as planned, the construction of Amaravati would have been completed by now. Amaravati could have been a major economic asset for Andhra Pradesh today. However, in 2019, a capricious administration—akin to the whimsical rule of Tughlaq—came to power in the state.
The Chief Minister, who had originally endorsed the legislative resolution designating Amaravati as the capital, later reneged on his word and initiated a chaotic “three-capital” scheme. Immediately, his cohorts began spewing venomous rhetoric against Amaravati, describing it as a desert or a graveyard. With the help of their own media outlets, they sought to portray Amaravati as a mere mirage (*Bhramaravati*) or a project serving only a specific caste (*Kammaravati*). They propagated allegations of a massive scam regarding capital lands; yet, courts at every level—from the High Court to the Supreme Court—dismissed these cases. A clear verdict was delivered stating that no scam—of any kind—had occurred in Amaravati.
Despite this, Jagan’s cohorts did not cease their malicious propaganda. Driven by a toxic mix of personal animosity, political arrogance, and a vengeful mindset—stemming from the fact that the capital project was initiated by Chandrababu—they continued to vilify Amaravati. The introduction of the unprecedented “three-capital” concept drove away investments, stalled job creation, and forced farmers onto the streets. A systematic assault on the farmers ensued, involving the destruction of infrastructure, the filing of cases, arrests, and suppression; the venom spewed by Jagan against Amaravati severely damaged Andhra Pradesh’s credibility. In any case, it is evident that Jagan is bent on the destruction of Amaravati.
That is why, from Jagan’s conspiracies…We must protect Amaravati.

అమరావతి పై ఎందుకింత ద్వేషం?
మాట తప్పను.. మడమ తిప్పను అంటూ డైలాగులు చెప్పే మాజీ ముఖ్య మంత్రి జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి అమరావతి రాజధాని విషయంలో మాట తప్పడం, మడమ తిప్పడంలో పేటెంట్ హక్కులు పొందారు. 2014లో ప్రతిపక్ష నేతగా ఉన్న సమయంలో రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం అమరావతికి జై కొట్టిన జగన్ 2019లో అధికారంలోకి రాగానే దోచుకునే అవసరం కోసం మాట మార్చేశారు. మూడురాజధాను లంటూ కొత్త నాటకానికి తెరతీశారు. 2024లో ప్రజలు వైసీపీ ని తిరస్కరించిన తర్వాత “మావిగన్ ” అంటూ మళ్ళీ తెరమీదకు వచ్చారు. మావిగన్ అంటే జగన్ భాషలో చెప్పాలంటే మాటతప్పడం.. విద్వేషాలు.. గన్ సంస్కృతి. అందుకే ఆయన మావిగన్ రాగాన్ని ఆలపిస్తున్నారు.
జగన్ లక్ష్యం రాజధాని నిర్మించటం కాదు. రాజధాని పేరిట ప్రాంతాల మధ్య చిచ్చు పెట్టడం, ప్రజల మధ్య విద్వేషాలు రెచ్చగొట్టడమని ప్రజలకూ బాగా అర్ధమైంది.కాని మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రికి మాత్రం జ్ఞానోదయం కలగడం లేదు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు నాయకత్వంలో కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత అమరావతి రాజధాని నిర్మాణ పనులు శరవేగంగా సాగుతున్నాయి. ఐదేళ్ళ వైసీపీ పాలనలో విధ్వంసానికి గురైన అమరావతి కి కూటమి ప్రభుత్వ పాలనలో మళ్ళీ వెలుగులు వచ్చాయి.
ఇది సహించలేని జగన్ విద్వేషం కనపరుస్తూనే ఉండడాన్ని ప్రజలు గమనిస్తున్నారు. అధికారంలో ఉన్న ఐదేళ్ళు అమరావతిని సర్వనాశనం చేయడమే లక్ష్యంగా కుట్రలు చేసిన జగన్ ఇప్పటికీ రాజధానిపై విషం కక్కడం మానలేదు. అవాకులు చవాకులతో మరోసారి రాష్ట్ర ప్రజల్ని తప్పుదారి పట్టించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తూనే ఉన్నారు.
ఊసరవెల్లి కూడా సిగ్గు పడుతుందేమో ?
అమరావతిపై నాలుక మడతేయడం, మాటమార్చేయడం జగన్ కు వెన్నతో పెట్టిన విద్య. గుంటూరు-విజయవాడ మధ్య 35 వేల ఎకరాల్లో రాజధాని నిర్మించాలని,రాజధానిగా అమరావతి తమకు ఆమోదయోగ్యమేనని ప్రతిపక్ష నేత హోదాలో అసెంబ్లీ సాక్షిగా చెప్పిన జగన్ 2019 వరకు అదేపాట పాడారు. రాష్ట్ర రాజధానిగా అమరావతినే కొనసాగిస్తామని 2019 ఎన్నికల సభయంలోనూ జగన్, వైకాపా నాయకులు ఢంకాభజాయించి చెప్పారు. అసెంబ్లీ, సచివాలయం, హైకోర్టు ఎక్కడ ఉంటే అదే రాజధాని అని జగన్ ఒక సభలో చెప్పారు. 2019లో ఓట్ల కోసం నటించిన జగన్ గెలిచాక అసలు రూపం బయటపెట్టారు. మూడు రాజధానుల పేరుతో అమరావతిని సర్వనాశనం చేసేందుకు నడుం కట్టారు.2024 ఎన్నికల్లో తల బొప్పి కట్టడంతో వైకాపా మళ్ళీ అధికారంలోకి వస్తే సీఎంగా జగన్ అమరావతిలోనే ఉంటారని విశాఖ వెళ్ళరని ఆపార్టీ నాయకులు చెప్పారు. వైకాపా నాయకుల నిజస్వరూపమేంటో, అమరావతిపై వారి వైఖరేంటో జగన్ చేస్తున్న వ్యాఖ్యలతో తేటతెల్లమైంది.అమరావతిపైజగన్ తరుచుగా మాటలు మార్చడాన్ని చూస్తే ఊసరవెల్లి కూడా సిగ్గుపడుతుంది.
ప్రమాదకర రాజకీయ క్రీడ ..!!
అమరావతి నిర్మాణం వేగం అందుకున్న శుభతరుణంలో వాస్తవాలను వక్రీకరిస్తూ, స్వార్థబుద్ధితో, సంకుచిత వాదనలతో ప్రమాదకర రాజకీయ క్రీడను ఆరంభించాడు జగన్ రెడ్డి. ఆయన పసలేని పనికిమాలిన రాజకీయాన్ని ప్రజలు అర్థం చేసుకోవాలి. మొదటి నుంచీ అమరావతికి పురిట్లోనే సంధి కొట్టాలని జగన్ రెడ్డి సృష్టించిన అడ్డంకులు అన్నీ ఇన్నీ కావు. అమరావతిని పడగొట్టడం, విడగొట్టడం, చెడగొట్టడమే లక్ష్యంగా గోముఖ వ్యాఘ్ర విన్యాసాన్ని జగన్ ప్రదర్శించాడు.
అమరావతిలో అద్భుత రాజధానిని నిర్మిస్తామన్న హామీ ఇచ్చి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన జగన్ రెడ్డి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక అమరావతికి మరణ శాసనం రాశాడు. మూడు రాజధానుల నాటకం ఆడి రాష్ట్రానికి రాజధానే లేకుండా చేశాడు. నాలుకను అడ్డదిడ్డంగా మడతేయడంలో జగన్ రెడ్డి ఊసరవెల్లికి సాటి రాగలడు. అనాగరిక విద్వేష రాజకీయాలతో ప్రాంతాల మధ్య వైషమ్యాలు ఎగదోసి కండ కావరంతో రాజధాని అమరావతిని నిర్వీర్యం చేశాడు. అందుకే జగన్రెడ్డిని 2024 ఎన్నికల్లో ప్రజలు చిత్తు చిత్తుగా ఓడించారు. ప్రతిపక్ష హోదా సైతం దక్కనంతగా తిరస్కరించారు. అయినా ఆయన బుద్ధి మార్చుకోవడం లేదు. అమరావతిపై వికృత వ్యాఖ్యలు చేస్తూ సైంధవుడిలా ఇంకా అడ్డుకోవాలని చూస్తున్నాడు.
రాజధానిగా అమరావతి అభివృద్ధి కాకూడదన్నదే జగన్ రెడ్డి ఉద్దేశ్యంగా అర్థమవుతున్నది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్కి ఎటువంటి పెట్టుబడులు, లేదా గ్రాంట్లు రాకూడదు అన్నట్లుగా ఉంది ఆయన వ్యవహారం.
నాటి తెలుగుదేశం ప్రభుత్వం పైసా ఖర్చు లేకుండా రైతులను మెప్పించి, ఒప్పించి ముప్పయ్ వేల ఎకరాల పైచిలుకు భూములను సమీకరించి రాజధాని నిర్మాణం ప్రారంభించింది. ఫ్లడ్ లైట్ల వెలుగులో వేలమంది కార్మికులతో రాజధాని నిర్మాణ పనులు జరిగాయి. అడ్డు పడకుండా అనుకున్నట్టుగా జరిగి ఉంటే ఈపాటికి అమరావతి నిర్మాణం పూర్తయి ఉండేది. నేటికి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్కు అమరావతి ఒక ప్రధాన ఆర్థిక వనరుగా ఉండేది. కానీ 2019లో విధి వక్రించి రాష్ట్రంలో తుగ్లక్ ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చింది. అమరావతిని రాజధానిగా నిర్ణయిస్తూ శాసనసభలో తీర్మానం చేసినప్పుడు ఆమోదం తెలిపిన తుగ్లక్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి, ఆ తర్వాత మాట మార్చి, మూడు రాజధానులు అంటూ మూడు ముక్కలాటకు తెర తీశారు. ఆ వెంటనే ఆయన ముష్కర మూక కూడా అమరావతిపై విషపూరితమైన ప్రకటనలు చేయడం ఆరంభించింది. వాళ్ళు అమరావతిని ఎడారిగా, శ్మశానంగా అభివర్ణించారు. సొంత మీడియా సహకారంతో అమరావతిని భ్రమరావతిగా, కమ్మరావతిగా చిత్రించారు. రాజధాని భూముల వ్యవహారంలో భారీ కుంభకోణం జరిగిందని ప్రచారం చేసారు. ఆ తర్వాత హైకోర్టు నుంచి సుప్రీం కోర్టు వరకు అన్ని స్థాయిల్లో ఈ కేసులను కొట్టివేశారు. అంతేగాక అమరావతిలో కుంభకోణం, లంబకోణం ఏదీ జరగలేదని విస్పష్ట తీర్పు వెలువడింది. అయినప్పటికీ జగన్ ముష్కర మూక విష ప్రచారాన్ని ఆపలేదు. చంద్రబాబు ప్రారంభించిన రాజధాని కావడంతో వ్యక్తిగత ద్వేషం, రాజకీయ అహంకారం, ప్రతీకార భావజాలం ఈ మూడింటి మేళవింపుతో అమరావతిపై విషం కక్కారు. ప్రపంచంలో ఎక్కడా లేని మూడు రాజధానులు అనే కాన్సెప్ట్ తెచ్చేసరికి పెట్టుబడులు పారిపోయాయి, ఉద్యోగాలు ఆగిపోయాయి, రైతులు రోడ్డెక్కారు. రైతులపై వ్యవస్థాగత దాడి మొదలైంది. రోడ్లు, భవనాలు, కార్యాలయాల ధ్వంసం, కేసులు, అరెస్టులు, అణచివేత, అమరావతిపై జగన్ కక్కిన విషం ఏపీ విశ్వసనీయతను కూడా తీవ్రంగా దెబ్బతీసింది.
ఏది ఏమైనా అమరావతి అంతమే జగన్ పంతమని అర్థమవుతున్నది. అందుకే జగన్ కుట్రల నుంచి అమరావతిని రక్షించుకోవాలి.
