విఐటీ – ఏపి విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో విఐటీ – ఏపి స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ లా (VSL) , కాంపిటీషన్ కమిషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (CCI) సంయుక్త ఆధ్వర్యంలో మొదటి జాతీయ మూట్ కోర్ట్ పోటీలు
విఐటీ – ఏపి విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో విఐటీ – ఏపి స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ లా (VSL) మరియు కాంపిటీషన్ కమిషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (CCI) సంయుక్త ఆధ్వర్యంలో మొదటి జాతీయ మూట్ కోర్ట్ పోటీలను మూడురోజుల పాటు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. మొదటి రోజు ది. 15 ఏప్రిల్ 2023 నాడు ఈ జాతీయ మూట్ కోర్ట్ పోటీలను ముఖ్య అతిధులు శ్రీ రావు రఘునందన్ రావు (ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ హైకోర్టు గౌరవనీయ న్యాయమూర్తి) శ్రీ కె. లక్ష్మణ్ (తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టు గౌరవనీయ న్యాయమూర్తి) ప్రారంభించారు. మూట్ కోర్ట్ పోటీల యొక్క ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం న్యాయవాద వృత్తిని కొనసాగించడానికి మరియు న్యాయ రంగంలో రాణించాలనే అభిరుచి ఉన్న ప్రపంచ న్యాయ నిపుణులను ప్రోత్సహించడం.
మూట్ కోర్ట్ పోటీలలో అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న న్యాయ రంగంలో పోటీ చట్టం యొక్క కీలక పాత్రను తెలియచేయడంతో పాటు, పోటీ ప్రక్రియను తప్పుగా సూచించడం మరియు ప్రక్రియను దెబ్బతీసే ప్రవర్తనలో సంస్థలు పాల్గొనడాన్ని నిషేధించడం పోటీ చట్టం యొక్క ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం. పోటీ చట్టం మరియు దాని పటిష్టమైన అమలు ఆర్థిక వాతావరణాన్ని నిర్ధారించడానికి ఉపయోగపడుతుంది మరియు వ్యాపార ఒప్పందాలు న్యాయమైన పోటీ సూత్రాలకు కట్టుబడి ఉంటాయి.
ఈ సందర్భంగా శ్రీ రావు రఘునందన్ రావు (ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ హైకోర్టు గౌరవ న్యాయమూర్తి) మాట్లాడుతూ న్యాయవాద కళను మూట్ కోర్టులు నేర్పుతాయని అన్నారు. మూట్ కోర్టులు న్యాయమూర్తిని సమర్థవంతమైన మార్గంలో ఒప్పించే సామర్థ్యాన్ని పెంచుతాయని , లా గ్రాడ్యుయేట్లు కూడా చట్టం యొక్క డొమైన్లో మారుతున్న ట్రెండ్లతో సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానం కలిగి ఉండాలని, ఖచ్చితత్వం న్యాయవాది యొక్క నిజమైన హాల్ మార్క్ అని, కేసును బాగా అర్థం చేసుకున్నప్పుడు వాస్తవాలను ఖచ్చితంగా న్యాయమూర్తి ముందు సమర్పించగలుగుతారని తెలియచేసారు. న్యాయస్థానం ముందు వాస్తవాలను బాగా సమర్పించినప్పుడే, న్యాయవాదులు న్యాయమూర్తి యొక్క మెప్పును పొందగలరని తెలియచేసారు.
అలాగే శ్రీ కె. లక్ష్మణ్ (గౌరవనీయులైన తెలంగాణా హైకోర్టు న్యాయమూర్తి) మాట్లాడుతూ న్యాయవాద వృత్తి ఒక ఉన్నతమైన వృత్తి అని, న్యాయం చేయడానికి అత్యంత అంకితభావంతో చేయాలని అన్నారు. చిత్తశుద్ధి మరియు కృషితో ఉన్నత స్థానాలకు చేరవచ్చునని తెలియచేసారు. చట్టంలోని ప్రాథమిక సూత్రాలను అర్థం చేసుకోవాలని, అప్పుడే న్యాయవాద వృత్తిలో రాణించవచ్చునని తెలియచేసారు. అన్నారు.
విఐటీ – ఏపి విశ్వవిద్యాలయ వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ డా.ఎస్.వి. కోటా రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ మూట్ కోర్ట్ పోటీ ప్రాముఖ్యతను తెలియచేసారు. అంతే కాకుండా న్యాయవాద విద్యార్థుల న్యాయవాద నైపుణ్యాలను చక్కదిద్దడానికి మరియు విచారణ కోసం నిజమైన కోర్టుకు హాజరు కావడానికి ముందు వారి విశ్వాసాన్ని మెరుగుపచుకోవటానికి ఇటువంటి మూట్ కోర్ట్ పోటీలు ఎంతగానో ఉపయోగపడతాయని తెలియచేసారు.
డా|| బెనర్జీ చక్కా (డీన్, విఐటీ – ఏపి స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ లా) మాట్లాడుతూ, మూట్ కోర్ట్ అనేది చట్టపరమైన ప్రక్రియలు మరియు ట్రయల్స్ జరిగే నిజమైన కోర్టు గదికి సూక్ష్మ రూపమని అన్నారు. దీనిని మాక్ కోర్ట్ అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు, దీనిలో న్యాయ విద్యార్థులు నిపుణులుగా వ్యవహరిస్తారు మరియు సృజనాత్మకంగా ఆలోచించే సామర్థ్యాన్ని ప్రదర్శించడానికి, ప్రశ్నించినప్పుడు నమ్మకంగా సమాధానమివ్వడానికి మరియు వారి వక్తృత్వం, రచన మరియు ఒప్పించే నైపుణ్యాలను ప్రదర్శించడానికి ఒక వేదికగా ఉపయోగపడుతుందని తెలియచేసారు.

First National Moot Court Competition jointly organized by VIT – AP School of Law (VSL) and Competition Commission of India (CCI) at VIT – AP University
The VIT-AP School of Law (VSL) and the Competition Commission of India (CCI) jointly organized the first National Moot Court Competition for three days at VIT-AP University. The first day. On 15th April 2023 this National Moot Court Competition was inaugurated by Chief Guests Mr. Rao Raghunandan Rao (Hon’ble Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court) Mr. K. Laxman (Hon’ble Judge of Telangana High Court). The main objective of the Moot Court Competitions is to encourage global legal professionals who have passion to pursue a legal career and excel in the field of law.
The main objective of competition law is to prohibit firms from engaging in conduct that misrepresents the competitive process and undermines the process, in addition to conveying the vital role of competition law in the emerging legal field of moot court competitions. Competition law and its robust enforcement serve to ensure an economic environment and business agreements adhere to the principles of fair competition.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rao Raghunandan Rao (Honorary Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court) said that moot courts teach the art of advocacy. Moot Courts enhance the ability to persuade the judge in an effective way, law graduates also need to be technologically savvy with the changing trends in the domain of law, accuracy is the real hall mark of a lawyer and can accurately present the facts before the judge when the case is well understood. Only when the facts are presented well before the court, the lawyers are informed that they can win the favor of the judge.
Also Shri K. Laxman (Hon’ble Telangana High Court Judge) said that legal profession is a noble profession and one should do it with utmost dedication to do justice. He informed that one can reach high positions with sincerity and hard work. He informed that one should understand the basic principles of law and only then one can excel in legal profession. Said.
VIT – AP University Vice Chancellor Dr.S.V. Kota Reddy said the importance of moot court competition. Apart from that, such moot court competitions are very helpful in honing the advocacy skills of law students and improving their confidence before appearing in the real court for trial.
Dr|| Banerjee Chakka (Dean, VIT – AP School of Law) said that a moot court is a miniature version of a real court room where legal proceedings and trials take place. It is also known as Mock Court, in which law students act as experts and serve as a platform to demonstrate their ability to think creatively, answer questions confidently and demonstrate their oratory, writing and persuasive skills.
VIT – AP University Registrar Dr Jagdish Chandra Mudiganti, Sneha Goud (Faculty Convenor, First National Moot Court Competitions) Law students, teachers and staff participated.
