రాష్ట్రంలో రూ.65 కోట్లతో చర్మపరిశ్రమాభివృద్ధి

అమరావతి, మే 15: రాష్ట్రంలో రూ.65 కోట్లతో చర్మపరిశ్రమాభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను చేపట్టనున్నామని రాష్ట్ర సాంఘిక సంక్షేమశాఖ మంత్రి మేరుగు నాగార్జున వెల్లడించారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా చర్మపరిశ్రమాభివృద్ధి సంస్థకు చెందిన భూములు, భవనాలన్నింటినీ ఉపయోగంలోకి తీసుకురావడానికి కార్యాచరణ పథకాన్ని రూపొందిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు.
రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో సోమవారం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ చర్మపరిశ్రమాభివృద్ధి సంస్థ (లిడ్ క్యాప్) కార్యకలాపాలను మంత్రి సమీక్షించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగానే నాగార్జున మాట్లాడుతూ, విజయవాడ నడిబొడ్డున ఆటోనగర్ గేట్ లో లిడ్ క్యాప్ కు అత్యంత విలువైన భూమి ఉందని చెప్పారు. ఇది కాకుండా శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లాలోని వెన్నెలవలస, పార్వతీపురం జిల్లాలోని అద్దపుశీల, ఏలూరు జిల్లాలోని నూజివీడు, పల్నాడు జిల్లాలోని అడిగొప్పుల, ప్రకాశం జిల్లాలోని యడవల్లి, అనంతపురం జిల్లాలోని రాచపల్లి, రాళ్ల అనంతపురం, కృష్ణా జిల్లాలోని జి.కొండూరు, తిరుపతి జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో మొత్తం 133.74 ఎకరాల భూములు ఉన్నాయని తెలిపారు. ఈ భూముల్లో అత్యధికంగా అనంతపురం, ప్రకాశం జిల్లాల్లో ఉన్నాయన్నారు. వీటిలో భవనాలతో పాటుగా శిక్షణలకు ఉపయోగపడే షెడ్లు కూడా ఉన్నాయని చెప్పారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఈ భూములు, భవనాలన్నింటినీ ఉపయోగంలోకి తెచ్చేందుకు కార్యాచరణ ప్రణాళికను రూపొందిస్తున్నామని వివరించారు.
పీఎం అజయ్ పథకం కింద ఇదివరకు మంజూరైన రూ.11.50 కోట్ల నిధులతో కృష్ణా జిల్లాలోని జి.కొండూరు, ప్రకాశం జిల్లాలోని యడవల్లిలలో రెండు పాదరక్షల తయారీ (ఫుట్ వేర్ మ్యానుఫ్యాక్చర్ యూనిట్స్) కేంద్రాల నిర్మాణాలు ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయని నాగార్జున వెల్లడించారు. దీనికి సంబంధించిన టెండర్ ప్రక్రియ కొనసాగుతోందని చెప్పారు. విజయవాడ ఆటోనగర్ గేట్ లో ఉన్న భూమిలో చర్మ ఉత్పత్తుల శిక్షణ, విక్రయాలకు అవసరమైన ఒక పెద్ద భవనాన్ని నిర్మించే ప్రతిపాదన ఉందన్నారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 9 మినీ లెదర్ పార్క్ లను నిర్మించడానికి కూడా చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నామని తెలిపారు. ఇదికాకుండా రూ.65 కోట్లతో లిడ్ క్యాప్ లో పలు అభివృద్ధి పనులను చేపట్టనున్నామని, దీనిలో భాగంగానే పాదరక్షల కు సంబంధించిన కామన్ ఫెసిలిటీ సెంటర్ ను రూ.10 కోట్లతోనూ, చర్మపరిశ్రమకు సంబంధించిన శిక్షణల కోసం మరో కామన్ ఫెసిలిటీ సెంటర్ ను రూ.30 కోట్లతోనూ, కొత్త భవనాల నిర్మాణాలను రూ.15 కోట్లతోనూ, ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న భవనాల అభివృద్ధిని రూ.10 కోట్లతోనూ చేపట్టనున్నామని మంత్రి వివరించారు. అలాగే లిడ్ క్యాప్ ను మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడానికి ఉన్న ఇతర అవకాశాలను కూడా పరిశీలిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల ద్వారా రాష్ట్రంలో చర్మపరిశ్రమాభివృద్ధికి, చర్మకారుల సంక్షేమానికి కొత్త ప్రతిపాదనలను సిద్ధం చేయాలని సూచించారు.
లిడ్ క్యాప్ అభివృద్ధి కోసం ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైయస్ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి కూడా కృతనిశ్చయంతో ఉన్నారని తెలిపారు. తాను సూచించిన ప్రతిపాదనలు, కోరిన వివరాలతో వారం రోజుల్లో మరోసారి సమీక్షా సమావేశానికి రావాలని లిడ్ క్యాప్ అధికారులు నాగార్జున ఆదేశించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో లిడ్ క్యాప్ ఎండీ శంకర్, జీఎం నల్లమోతు అధికారి, ఫెలో శ్యామ్, ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Amaravati, May 15: State Social Welfare Minister Merugu Nagarjuna has revealed that they will take up leather industry development programs with Rs.65 crores in the state. He said that an action plan is being drawn up to bring all the lands and buildings belonging to the Tannery Development Corporation into use across the state.
The Minister reviewed the activities of Andhra Pradesh Leather Industry Development Corporation (Lidcap) at the State Secretariat on Monday. On this occasion, Nagarjuna said that Lidcap has the most valuable land in Autonagar Gate in the heart of Vijayawada. Apart from this, Vennelavalasa in Srikakulam district, Addapusila in Parvathipuram district, Nujiveedu in Eluru district, Adigopula in Palnadu district, Yadavalli in Prakasam district, Rachapalli in Anantapuram district, Ralla Anantapuram in Krishna district, G. Kondur in Krishna district and Tirupati district centers have a total of 133.74 acres of land. Most of these lands are in Anantapur and Prakasam districts. He said that apart from these buildings, there are also sheds which are useful for trainings. It was explained that we are currently preparing an action plan to bring all these lands and buildings into use.
Nagarjuna revealed that the construction of two footwear manufacturing units will be started at G.Kondur in Krishna district and Yadavalli in Prakasam district with the funds of Rs.11.50 crore sanctioned so far under the PM Ajay scheme. He said that the tender process for this is going on. He said that there is a proposal to construct a big building needed for training and sales of skin products on the land in Autonagar Gate of Vijayawada. He said that steps are also being taken to build 9 mini leather parks across the state. Apart from this, several development works will be undertaken in Lidcap with Rs.65 crores, as a part of which a common facility center for footwear will be built with Rs.10 crores, another common facility center for trainings related to leather industry will be built with Rs.30 crores, and construction of new buildings will be constructed with Rs.15 crores. The Minister explained that the development of the existing buildings will be undertaken with Rs.10 crores. He also said that other possibilities to strengthen the lid cap are also being considered. It is suggested that new proposals should be prepared for the development of leather industry and the welfare of tanners in the state by the central and state governments.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is also determined for the development of lid cap, he said. Lidcap officials directed Nagarjuna to come to the review meeting again within a week with the proposals suggested by him and the requested details. Lid Cap MD Shankar, GM Nallamotu Adhikari, Fellow Shyam and other officers participated in this program.
