Amaravati: Under the directions and guidance of Hon’ble Sri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, Chief Justice and Patron-in-Chief, Hon’ble Sri Justice C. Praveen Kumar, Executive Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and Hon’ble Sri Justice A.V. Sesha Sai, Chairman, A.P. High Court Legal Services Committee, the National Lok Adalat is held at High Court and in all the Districts in the State of Andhra Pradesh on 11-02-2023 (Second Saturday).
A total number of 411 Lok Adalat Benches have been constituted across the State and settled 2,75,954 cases including 2,44,904 Pending cases and 31,050 Pre-litigation cases in various Districts and 201 cases were settled in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. A total amount of Rs. 254.52 Crores is the settlement amount in the cases settled before the National Lok Adalat.
With the whole hearted support of the Advocates, active participation of the public, officials of stakeholder departments, Press and Media and staff, the National Lok Adalat is a grand success. The State Legal Services Authority expresses profound thanks to one and all for their efforts, continued support and active participation.
