Sunnapurallapalle, YSR District.
YSR District Jammalamadugu Constituency, Sunnapurallapalle, YSR District CM Mr. Y. Jagan performed Bhumi Pooja for the construction of JSW Steel Plant.
On this occasion, what did CM Shri YS. Jagan say….:
Heartfelt thanks to every brother and sister who came here from Madugu constituency of Jammu.
By God’s grace, we are starting a good program in YSR district today.
This event, which was to be held on a large scale in the context of the Election Code, had to be held with as few people as possible. Even though the activists are asking MLA Sudhir Reddy to call us too… please understand with a big heart that the code is an obstacle.
The foundation stone of a steel plant has been a long-standing dream.
This program, which we are laying the foundation stone of today, is our long-time dream. We have observed what kind of cities are transformed when a steel plant comes. Whether we take Visakhapatnam, see the factory set up by Jindal next to Vizianagaram in Karnataka, or see the steel plants in other areas, we have seen how the entire district is on the path of development.
At that time, when my father thought that the same thing should happen, he did not dream for the development of this area. He thought of having a steel plant here. After his death, we have seen with our own eyes that the entire district is going backward because no leader cares about it.
Again with God’s blessings today…
Today God has blessed again. Your child has been sworn in as the Chief Minister of this state with your warm blessings. After that again industries are coming to this area one by one… good days are coming. As a part of that, today, by the grace of God, we are laying the foundation stone for the steel plant, which we have always dreamed of.
The steel plant project to be constructed here today will start in another 24-30 months. Mr. Jindal has made plans to build the 3 million tonne plant in two phases. The first phase will be completed in another 24 to 30 months. It will be completed with Rs.3,300 crores. After that, the second phase in another 5 years with Rs.5,500 crores and a total of Rs.8,800 crores in both phases, a steel plant with a capacity of 3 million tons will be developed rapidly in this area. The construction of this steel plant is done by the hands of a good man.
Jindal Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal is the leader in steel production in the country with an investment of around Rs 1.75 lakh crore with a steel capacity of 28.5 million tonnes. Such a person came to our area and this steel plant started here with a capacity of 3 million tons does not stop there.
When the Jindal Group steel plant was started in Bellary too, the capacity was 3 million tonnes. Today it is growing… with a 13 million ton plant, the landscape of the area has completely changed. I sincerely wish the same situation to happen here.
Infrastructure with Rs.700 crores.
It took a lot of effort to support this plant. The reason is that this area is not close to the sea shore, but it is far away, so it took a lot of effort to set up a steel plant here. However, by the grace of God, good days have come to us. For this plant, we bought all the remaining land here for Rs.40 crores and gave about 3,500 acres to Sajjan Jindal for the Jindal factory.
The reason is that along with the Jindal Steel Factory, there will also be a system of related industries. As a result, we are taking great steps with the aim of establishing a steel city here. In relation to this plant, we are laying a four-lane road of seven and a half kilometers connecting the National Highway No. 67. Construction of another ten kilometers line will also be done for Proddutur and Erragunta railway line. We are undertaking a program to supply 2 TMC of water from Gandikota reservoir through a special pipeline. We are also constructing a 220 KV line specially for this plant from Thalamanchipalle substation for continuous power supply. As your child, I am proud to say that we are spending around Rs.700 crores to provide this kind of infrastructure to this plant.
I sincerely hope that this plant will bring good things to this region. We have already allotted 550 acres in Kopparthi and brought Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC). Industries are coming here with investments of around Rs.10 thousand crores. If all the industries come in those 550 acres… a great program will be created which will provide jobs to lakhs of people. As a part of that, investments of Rs.1100 crores have already been made there. 11,500 employment related activities are also speeding up.
In the same Kopparthi, we are taking steps forward by allocating 3,155 acres under the name of Jagananna Mega Industrial Hub. We are also creating opportunities for industries there with investments of Rs.18 thousand crore rupees. Thus there is a situation of 1.75 lakh jobs.
A job for every educated child…
Your child’s government brought a law together to give 75 percent of jobs to the local people as soon as they came to power, with the desire and desire to give our children the opportunity to get jobs in our region.
With all this, I hope and pray that our region will improve and our children will get good job opportunities.
Thanks to Jindal…
Similarly, thanks to Sajjan Jindal for setting up a steel plant in this area. This region is very backward in development. This type of investment will change the face of this district. By coming here and setting up a steel plant…you have given hope to the development of this region. I hope you don’t stop with the Rs 8,800 crore investment you are making for the steel plant. We also hope to invest in remaining green hydrogen, solar and pumped storage projects. About 30 thousand crores of investment is possible in this sector. You have built trust in that direction as well through your investment.
Number One AP in Ease of Doing Business
I would like to say two words on this occasion. For the past three years, the state of Andhra Pradesh has been consistently at the number one position in the country in terms of ease of doing business. Another important point is that from 2019 the views of industrialists are also being considered before ranking the states in Ease of Doing Business. In this context… we are steadily continuing at the number one position in Ease of Doing Business due to the feedback given by industrialists along with the efforts being made to establish industries. This ranking shows how favorable the state of Andhra Pradesh is for industries and how positive the industrialists are for setting up industries in AP.
Another important thing is…
With a growth rate of 11.43 percent in 2021-22, AP has emerged as the fastest growing state in the country. These two factors make it clear to what extent the state of Andhra Pradesh is favorable for industries.
Government is just a phone call away…
Let me make one more thing clear to you and assure you. Whatever your problem or inconvenience, we are just a phone call away. The government will stand by you. will solve your problem. I assure Sajjan Jindal on behalf of all of you. I want these steps which started with 3 million tons for steel plant today not to stop here but further expansion.
I promise on your behalf that we will cordially invite the investments coming here and support the industrialists. The CM concluded his speech by saying that he is taking a leave of absence wishing good things to happen to this region.
