Vote YSRCP to continue welfare saga…
Kalyanadurgam (Nandyala dist), May 9: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reiterated that welfare schemes and reforms will continue only if YSRCP is elected to power in the next week’s elections and cautioned people that a vote for TDP and allies will result in stopping of welfare schemes.
Addressing a mammoth public meeting here on Thursday, the Chief Minister listed out the welfare schemes and reforms implemented in the last 59 months and added that the Party has fulfilled 99 per cent of its election promises bringing sanctity to the manifestoes for the first time.
Despite ruling the State for 14 years, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has.d shown scant respect to his manifesto, he said.
Schemes like Amma Vodi, Vidya Deevena, Vasathi Deevena, Nadu-Nedu, English medium schools, digitisation of class rooms, TOEFEL training from class 3, tabs to 8th class students, Goru Mudda and introduction of bilingual text books have revolutionised the educational system, he said.
He said that Government has economically empowered self-help groups by implementing schemes like YSR Cheyutha, Aasara, Sunna Vaddi, Kapu Nestham, EBC Nestham besides distributing 31 lakh house sites and constructing 22 lakh houses.
Implementation of schemes like Rythu Bharosa, free crop insurance, input subsidy. 9-hour free power supply and RBKs have empowered the farmers, he said, adding that Government has also empowered self employed sections with schemes like Jagananna Thodu, Vahana Mitra, Chethodu, Nethanna Nestham, Matsya Kara Bharosa and Law Nestham.
Government has also taken the health care to the door step of people by enhancing the Aarogyasri limit to Rs. 25 lakhs and implementing Aarogya Asara, Jagananna Suraksha, family doctors and village clinics besides delivering the ration and social pensions at door step.
While these are the achievements of YSRCP, Naidu defaulted on the 2014 election manifesto by throwing it into the dustbin, the Chief Minister observed.
He further said that Naidu cheated people on the promise of waiver of farm loans worth Rs. 87, 612crore, self-help group loans worth Rs. 14, 205crore, on deposit of Rs. 25,000 on birth of girl babies under Mahalakshmi scheme, on allotment of 3-cent house sites to the poor, job for every house hold and Rs. 2000 monthly stipend for the unemployed in the absence of job.
The sound of pressing two buttons for voting the YSRCP, one for the Assembly and the other for the Lok Sabha, should reverberate in Delhi, he said.
