It is indisputable that the roots of many problems faced by the world lie in socio-economic inequalities. Socialism and Communism theories came to light as immediate solutions for these. If we analyze them like that, there is no doubt that the movements they organized were a boon for the oppressed people. I strongly believe that Islam had an influence on the socialist theorists who influenced the world. That is to get inspiration for the practice of social and economic equality.
Islam is based on the basic pillars of Kalima, Namaz, Zakat, Roja, Hajj. Zakat is very important in this. Every Muslim who can afford to pay Zakat to the poor from his wealth. Islam says that it is not charity but the right of the poor. This concept laid the foundation of socialist sentiments. “The poor and the needy have the right to earn,” says the Holy Qur’an. The first Caliph in the history of Islam, Abu Bakr Siddique, said that he would declare war on rich Muslims who did not pay Zakat, the right of the poor. Islam does not accept the exploitation of the rich. All the wealth on earth and within it belongs to God. He only got power. So no man should consider his wealth as his own property. The rich in the society should definitely distribute a part of their wealth to the poor. Otherwise the state should do that. As long as a rich man despises this right of the poor, his wealth and his soul will not be purified, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said. The system of zakat strikes a balance between two opposing extremes. Keeping in view the moral structure that is the foundation of civilization, it is strengthened by law and through the system of organized (not voluntary) zakat. The Holy Qur’an has set the path for society. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself said, “He who tolerates his neighbors to be hungry is not a true believer of God.” He taught that no person should accumulate wealth beyond his need. Zakat is the liberation of the poor, needy, widows and beggars of the society. The beggars, the debtors, and those who labor in the way of God have rights.
According to the report given in the Economic Survey of India 2004-05, 26% live below the poverty line. First Muslims should remove the economic gaps between them by paying Zakat collectively in the spirit of Ramadan. Even if it is a small percentage, rich Muslims should contribute. There should be no discrimination of caste and religion in helping. A field of action is needed. Then the heavenly and worldly purposes of the month of Ramadan will be fulfilled. The revelation of the Holy Qur’an in the month of Ramadan, which is a month of many noble feelings, is a great turning point in the history of mankind.

ఇస్లామిక్ సోషలిస్టు భావాల ఆచరణ రూపం రంజాన్
ప్రపంచం ఎదుర్కొంటున్న అనేక సమస్యల మూలాలు సామాజిక ఆర్థిక అసమానతల్లో ఉన్నాయనేది నిర్వివాదాంశం.వీటికి తక్షణ పరిష్కారాలుగా సోషలిజం,కమ్యూనిజం సిద్ధాంతాలు వెలుగులోకి వచ్చాయి.వాటి విశ్లేషణ అలా ఉంచితే అవి నిర్వహించిన ఉద్యమాలు పీడిత ప్రజలకు బాసటగా నిలిచాయనడంలో సందేహం లేదు.ప్రపంచాన్ని ప్రభావితం చేసిన సోషలిస్టు సిద్ధాంతకర్తలపై ఇస్లాం ప్రభావం ఉందని నేను గట్టిగా నమ్ముతాను.రంజాన్ మాసానికున్న విశిష్టత ఏమిటంటే సామాజిక,ఆర్థిక సమానత్వ ఆచరణకు సంబంధించిన స్పూర్తిని పొందడమే.
ఇస్లాం కలిమా,నమాజ్,జకాత్,రోజా,హజ్ అనే మూల స్థంభాలపై ఆధారపడివుంది.ఇందులో జకాత్ చాలా ప్రధానమైనది.ఆర్థిక స్థోమత ఉన్న ప్రతి ముస్లిం తన సంపద నుండి పేదలకు జకాత్ చెల్లించాలి.ఇది దానం కాదు పేదల హక్కు అని ఇస్లాం చెప్తుంది.ఈ భావనే సోషలిస్టు భావాలకు పునాది వేసింది.”వారి సంపాదనలో పేదలకు,అవసరార్థులకు హక్కు ఉంది”అని దివ్య ఖుర్ఆన్ చెప్తుంది.ఇస్లామియా చరిత్రలో తొలి ఖలీఫా అబూబకర్ సిద్ధిఖ్ గారు నిరుపేదల హక్కు ఐన జకాత్ చెల్లించని ధనిక ముస్లింలపై యుద్ధం ప్రకటిస్తానని చెప్పారు.ధనిక వర్గం సాగించే దోపిడీని ఇస్లాం అంగీకరించదు.భూమిపై,దాని లోపల ఉన్న సంపద అంతా దైవానికే చెందుతుంది.వీటిపై మనిషి తాత్కాలిక అధికారాన్ని మాత్రమే పొందాడు.కనుక ఏ మనిషి తన సంపదను తన గుత్త సొత్తుగా భావించరాదు.సమాజంలోని ధనికులు తమ సంపదలోని కొంత భాగాన్ని ఖచ్చితంగా నిరుపేదలకు పంచితీరాలి.లేదంటే రాజ్యమే ఆ పని చేయాలి.ఒక ధనికుడు నిరుపేదల ఈ హక్కును తృణికరించినంత కాలం అతని సంపద,అతని ఆత్మ ప్రక్షాళనం కాదని ప్రవక్త ముహమ్మద్(స)చెప్పారు.జకాత్ వ్యవస్థ రెండు విరుద్ధమైన అతిశయాల మధ్య సంతులనాన్ని ఏర్పరుస్తుంది.నాగరికతకు పునాది కాగల శీల నిర్మాణాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని చట్టం ద్వారాను,వ్యవస్థీకృతమైన(స్వచ్చందమైనది కాదు)జకాత్ అనబడే విధానం ద్వారాను పటిష్ఠ పర్చడం జరిగింది.మార్కెట్ సృష్టించే గుత్తాధిపత్యం,వడ్డీ,అదనపు రాబడి,అక్రమ నిల్వలు,జూదం ఇత్యాది వాటిని నిషేధించి సమ సమాజ భావాలకు పవిత్ర ఖుర్ఆన్ బాట వేసింది.స్వయాన ప్రవక్త ముహమ్మద్(స)”తన పొరుగున ఉన్న వారు ఆకలితో ఉండటాన్ని చూసి సహించే వ్యక్తి నిజమైన దైవ విశ్వాసి కాజాలడు”అన్నారు.ఏ వ్యక్తి తన అవసరాన్ని మించిన సంపద కూడబెట్టరాదని బోధించారు.జకాత్ పై సమాజంలోని నిరుపేదలకు,ఆగత్యపరులకు,వితంతువులకు,వెట్టిచాకిరి విముక్తి కోరేవారికి,రుణగ్రస్థులకు,దైవ మార్గంలో శ్రమించే వారికి హక్కులుంటాయి.
ఎకనమికల్ సర్వే ఆఫ్ ఇండియా2004-05లో ఇచ్చిన నివేదిక ప్రకారం 26%దారిద్ర్యరేఖ దిగువున జీవిస్తున్నారు.ముందు ముస్లింలు తమ మధ్య ఉన్న ఆర్థిక అంతరాలను రంజాన్ స్పూర్తితో సామూహికంగా జకాత్ చెల్లించడం ద్వారా దూరం చేసుకోవాలి.దీనికి కొద్ది శాతమే ఉన్నా ధనిక ముస్లింలు పూనుకోవాలి.సహాయం చేయడంలో కుల మత వివక్షత చూపరాదు.ప్రతి రంజాన్ మాసం మనకు ఒక కార్యాచరణ క్షేత్రం కావాలి.అప్పుడే రంజాన్ మాసం యొక్క పరలోక,ప్రాపంచిక ఉద్దేశ్యాలు నెరవేరతాయి.ఎన్నో ఉదాత్తమ భావాలకు నెలవైన పవిత్ర ఖుర్ఆన్ రంజాన్ మాసంలో అవతరించడం మానవజాతి చరిత్రలో గొప్ప మలుపు.
