AMARAVATI: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the district Superintendents of police not to spare any one who resort to crime in the guise of politics. He said utmost priority should be given for law and order to attract investments and thereby pave way to increase growth rate of state. The Chief Minister said police should adopt four R system including React, Reach, Respond and Result for better policing. He said that police officials should give priority to react immediately and reach the spot after report of crime. At the same time they should respond immediately on fake campaign in media and social media platforms and adopt humanitarian approach towards those approach the police for help to get better results in policing.
Addressing the Superintendents of Police through video conference today, the Chief Minister stressed the need for updating of policing as the criminals resorting to crime in innovative ways and methods.
The Chief Minister said that from the very beginning he gave priority to law and order and successfully rooted out factionalism in Rayalaseema and naxalism in Telangana. As a result naxals resorted to bomb blast attack on him at Alipiri. He said Hyderabad attracted investments as he acted strictly to maintain law and order.
Stating that Vivekananda Reddy murder case itself is a case study for police, the Chief Minister said that now political leaders are resorting to crime in the guise of politics. He said at first they claimed Vivekananda Reddy’s death as a murder and demanded CBI inquiry and later involved his name in the case. He said police should study in depth over criminal politics.
The Chief Minister advised the police officials to use technology to get best results. He said police should adopt people friendly attitude and at the same time act tough on antisocial elements and on those who resort to fake campaign using social media platforms. He said if any peoples representative asked for any thing make it clear whether it is correct or not.
The Chief Minister said police should thwart the attempts of opposition parties conspiracy to create chaos in the name of protests. He said top priority should be given to maintain peace in the state for rapid growth and development of the state.
